Maintenance Mechanic I Reta CIRO - Ammonia Refrigeration

Rate: $22 - $30 per hour DOE
# Position Type: _Direct Hire_
Volt is in search of a Maintenance Mechanic I. This is a Direct Hire position? the Individual applying must be able to work any shift, as well as weekends; this including overtime with little to no notice. Must have vast knowledge of high speed packaging machines, gearboxes, motors, filler machines and PLC troubleshooting. This is a food grade manufacturing environment.
# JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Successfully passed Reta CIRO Ammonia Refrigeration test.
+ Refrigeration knowledge and experience with compressors, condensers, refrigeration accessories and controls, working knowledge of NH3, NH3 Safety.
+ Electrical knowledge to include efficient troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment to include 480V, 220V, 120V and 24V.
+ Possess working knowledge and ability to efficiently troubleshoot pneumatics, air compressors and components.
+ Possess ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair manufacturing, processing and packaging equipment.
+ Possess working knowledge and ability to efficiently troubleshoot hydraulics including pumps, accessories and controls.
+ Possess ability to proficiently perform various types of welding including sanitary stainless steel and minor fabrication experience.
+ Possess working knowledge, and ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair boilers, steam systems, water softeners pumps, and general plant utilities.
+ Working knowledge of all plant process systems, Breaking Equip., HTST, CIP, sterilization, etc.
+ Some working knowledge of PLC process control system.
+ Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment.
+ Possess sufficient hand tools and test equipment with ability to use them to properly perform job functions as required.
# JOB DUTIES:
+ Respond to maintenance calls, efficiently troubleshoot and repair all production and plant equipment as needed in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
+ Trouble shoot and repair electric control circuits from 120V to 24V, read and follow electrical diagrams as needed.
+ Change out all electrical components such as magnetic starters, contacts, wiring, and other associated components as required.
+ Service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic system components.
+ Sanitary welding and fabricate as needed.
+ Layout and install plant and process utility plumbing such as air supply piping, sanitizer, foamer lines, and product lines, etc.
+ Perform SOP?s associated with the Ammonia PSM Program.
+ Perform PM procedures as assigned in a timely manner.
+ Must be able to follow work instructions, work independently, effectively and efficiently on all plant equipment and systems.
+ Make recommendations for improvements in operation and/or plant efficiency.
+ Participate in training of Maintenance II and prepare them for advancement in to Maintenance I.
Job Type: Full-time - Direct Hire
Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
