General Description Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
1.
Receptionist Desk:
Presenting calm, efficiency, organized effectiveness and confident competence.
2.
Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
3.
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, email auto response set up and personal computers.
4.
Maintain and update filing, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
5.
Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
6.
Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
7.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
8.
Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
9.
Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents, from notes or dictating machines, using computers or typewriters.
10.
Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments.
11.
Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
12.
Deliver messages and run errands.

Inventory and order materials, supplies, and services.
14.
Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment, such as computer hardware and software.
15.
Collect, count, and disburse money, do basic bookkeeping, and complete banking transactions, including setting up cash banks for events.
16.
Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices, or checks.
17.
Prepare gift certificates and maintains history of issuance.
18.
Sets up advertising fees for newsletters.
19.
Assign Locker to Members & Billing.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) 1.
High school or GED.
2.
1 to 2 years college or a closely related field may substitute for a portion of the required experience.
3.
1 year(s) preferred in an Administrative Role.
4.
2 years of progressively responsible experience.
5.
Ability to manage operations.
6.
Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7.
Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously.
8.
Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times.
9.
