We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our finance team.
This is a permanent full-time role within our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a background in accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), manufacturing accounting, and accruals.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1.
Processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
2.
Handling accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipt and revenue information.
3.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
4.
Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations to achieve 'audit-ready' status.
5.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
6.
Conducting regular ledger reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
7.
Participating in ongoing decision-making and growth opportunities.
8.
Collaborating with the finance team and other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
9.
Performing other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
1.
An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A bachelor's degree will be considered an asset.
2.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3.
Solid understanding and experience with A/R, A/P, manufacturing accounting, and accruals.
4.
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
5.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.
g.
SAP).
6.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
7.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
9.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
